The Council of Bishops of the Love Alive International (LAI) Ministers Alliance provide spiritual leadership to more than ministers but to persons in a broad range of settings on four continents, including North America, Europe, Africa and Asia. They play an important leadership role in helping to set the direction of the church and its mission throughout the world. In the LAI-MA, a bishop serves as a general superintendent of the entire church.  LAI-MA tradition, bishops are not “ordained” as bishops, but are clergy elected and consecrated to the office of bishop.  Bishops give general oversight to the worldly and spiritual interests of the Church. On this site you can meet our bishop and learn about the many ways LAI Ministers Alliance  are in ministry in your community and around the world.

Bishop Stephen Sizemore
Bishop-elect of Alliance Development

Biography

Bishop Stephen Sizemore is founder of Harvester’s Outreach Ministries Inc.  of Greenville, SC.  Its Genesis was in 1987, with the name later changed to Liberty Praise and Worship Center in 2008. Bishop Sizemore’s journey has not been an easy one, though always a man of character.  His life has endured the pains of the cross. He is the 11th child of a well knitted family that was well grounded in the Word of God.  He has never doubted God’s call on his life, even though the awkwardness of seemingly being different among his family and peers posed barriers in many ways. In 1982 Bishop Sizemore was married to Prophetess Paula Sizemore, and the two served as youth pastors for the Rock Church in Greenville, SC. under the tutelage of Bishop John Jimenez.  He and his spouse received their formal training from the Rock Church Bible Institute in Virginia Beach, VA. In 1995 they returned to Greenville, SC to pastor Harvester’s Outreach Ministry Inc. They are the proud parents of eight children, and 6 grandchildren. In December of 1990 a curve ball came from nowhere.  While sleeping one night an electrical fire caused Bishop Sizemore to suffer 3rd degree burns to over half of his body.  This was an almost death experience that changed he and his families’ life forever. What the enemy meant for bad, God turned around for good.  Never losing the passion of saving the lost, God multiplied the ministry greatly. God elevated him and he was appointed to the Bishopric by the late Arch-Bishop Bill McKinney in March 2008.   In this position he became founder of Zion Home Restoration Inc., a nonprofit organization that focused on youth and teen pregnancy, serving to provide life skill trainings in their homes, along with spiritual guidance. Bishop Sizemore is now the overseer to six churches in South Carolina and Alabama by way of Christian Fellowship World Ministries headquarter in Cleveland, Ohio. Since 2002 he has been National Day of Prayer Leader for the Upstate of South Carolina. He is also the founder of Pastors in Unity, a multicultural fellowship of ministers, also of the Upstate in South Carolina.
